XBC Automatic Diesel Fire Fighting Water Pump

Developed by Borra company its own, driven directly by diesel engine without any additional electric motors, the emergency / fire-fighting diesel water pump sets XBC series are able to start within a very short time, achieving water supply, automatic monitoring, fault alarm protection, and three 'remote functions'( remote control, remote measurement, remote signaling), convenient, reliable, economical, efficient, safe and environmentally friendly.

They are widely used in the field of ship water supply, the metal smelting furnace water cooling system, fire-fighting, irrigation, and drainage system, emergency water supply in high buildings, taper water, steel factories, wine plants, chemical factories, hotels.

Automatic control cabinet:

 Under abnormal conditions, the power of the diesel engine will not reach the rated power. In order to ensure normal operation, a higher-power diesel engine should be used to match the water pump.

A) starting functions:

1- Manual start function: manual and automatic interlocking can be completed through the transfer switch and manual start function can be realized;
2- Automatic start function: three starts are allowed. If the three starts are unsuccessful, the "start failure alarm" will be issued and the starting state will be automatically exited; after a successful start, the starting time to the rated load is 5-10-15S (varies according to the unit capacity );
3- Emergency manual direct start function: When the automatic control device fails, the emergency manual direct start function can be realized.
 
B) Automatic operation: When the water pump unit receives an effective fire control signal if the electric motor fire pump power supply system is cut off or lacks phase or the electric pump fails to start normally, the diesel engine fire pump unit will automatically start and run. Once the power supply system returns to normal or When the electric pump can operate normally, it can automatically switch to the electric pump.

1- Automatic shutdown: When the fire signal disappears, the diesel engine fire pump will self-delay shutdown.
2- Battery self-charging and voltage stabilization function: The battery can be automatically charged by the mains power for the diesel engine charging motor to ensure the smooth start of the unit.
3- It has a complete indicator system: ready to start, manual start, automatic start, unit operation, unit shutdown, battery charging, Overspeed, diesel engine lubrication is low (or lack), diesel engine cooling water temperature is too low, preheating, regular inspection.
4- It has a complete alarm or protection system: three start failure alarms or protections, Overspeed alarms or protections, low lubricating oil pressure alarms or protections, turbocharger oil pressures low alarms or protections, and cooling water temperature overheating alarms. Or protection, low oil temperature alarm or protection, automatic charging device failure alarm, low battery voltage alarm, high battery voltage alarm, low oil level alarm or protection.
5- It has a complete display system: diesel engine lubricating oil pressure, diesel engine speed, battery charging current, battery charging voltage.
6- Direct coupling: Diesel engine and water pump are directly connected by coupling, using common channel steel base, compact structure, good overall performance, less failure, less vibration, and convenient on-site construction and installation.
7- Wide range of equipment pressure and flow rate: The unit uses segmented multi-stage water pumps to meet the fire protection requirements of different occasions.
8- The flow and pressure can be adjusted: the diesel engine water pump is equipped with a mechanical or electronic governor. When the flow and head of the water pump are inconsistent with the actual situation, the speed of the diesel engine can be adjusted and changed.
9- Equipped with water heating and pre-heating device: The unit is equipped with an AC220V cooling water pre-heating device, which can ensure the normal operation of the unit in an environment below 5°C.
10- Double battery circuit: when one battery fails, the other battery can be automatically put in.
11- Maintenance-free storage battery: No need to add replenisher frequently.
12- Automatic timing inspection test: The fire protection system is usually in the standby state, and the unit equipment can automatically complete the test of the standby state of the unit and give an alarm in time.
