S material basis
Special steel used in 80 to 100% of the sulfuric acid, the temperature can reach 60-80 ºC.Steel in the concentration and temperature range of sulfuric acid, the surface can produce ferric sulfate membrane protective layer.Cast iron does not apply to more than 100% of fuming sulfuric acid, may be due to the sulphur trioxide reaction with iron contains silicon, the iron brittle.Carbon steel is not applicable to 100 ~ 102% fuming sulfuric acid, acid of more than 102%, and applicable temperature limit of about 60 ºC.Dilute sulfuric acid corrosion of steel is very big, when the acid concentration is 47%, the corrosion rate is high.When acid concentration is greater than 65%, significantly lower corrosion rate of steel.But in the 65 ~ 80% concentration in this passage, the best or not to use steel, in
order to use the lead or other dilute acid resistant materials more secure.
Sulfuric acid concentration: 80% ~ 98% special cast iron using temperature: 25 ºC to 50 ºC
Sulfuric acid concentration: 80% ~ 98% for carbon steel using temperature: 25 ºC ~ 60 ºC
Install and use, and matters needing attention and maintenance
1, before installation shall carefully check the presence of hard material in the runner, to avoid damage to the impeller and the pump body when running.
2, the inlet and outlet pipe of the pump on the road to install the regulator, to control the operation of the pump in rated conditions.
3, open the inlet valve, make the liquid fills the pump chamber.
4, and, turning on the power supply when the pump at normal speed, then gradually open the out line of the valve, and adjust to the desired operating mode.
5, check the motor, bearing temperature 70 ºC or less found unusual and into the handle.
6, it is strictly prohibited to mechanical seal under the condition of dry grinding work.
